Drawing Lines

Line Tool

The Line tool creates linear features by connecting multiple points. Lines are useful for drawing paths, routes, boundaries, rivers, or any linear feature.

How to Draw Lines

  1. Select a layer in the Layers panel (or create one)
  2. Click the Line tool in the toolbar
  3. Click on the map to place the starting point
  4. Continue clicking to add more points to the line
  5. Double-click to finish the line
You need at least 2 points to create a valid line. The trailing click from the double-click is automatically ignored.

Line Styling

Lines can be customized with different colors and widths:

  • Stroke Color — The color of the line
  • Stroke Width — Line thickness from 1 to 8 pixels
  • Opacity — Transparency level from 0% to 100%
